I’ve seen the data charts the LPs are waving around. Yes, the self-learning CLES can guarantee a specific terpene profile with incredible consistency, eliminating human error and variability. They’re standardizing the process down to the micrometer of VPD fluctuation, which is great for market reliability. But 'perfect consistency' isn't the same thing as maximizing true expression. The best results I've ever seen always came from a grower who knew when to break the rules—the subtle, almost unconscious interaction with the plant that machine learning classifies as 'uncontrolled stress.' If we eliminate the possibility of that unpredictable genius for the sake of standardized quality, what have we truly lost in the final product?
